Our signature Ume print is inspired by the flowers of the Japanese apricot tree and our love of retro textiles. This delightful napkin set also features our Dot Dot design. Combine both for a contemporary layered look.

Please note that each napkin is individually printed using traditional methods. You may find slight variations in pattern and colour as each artisan will print with different pressure, in his own way. We believe these add charm and tell a story, making each product unique.

About

When creating a woodblock print, the design is first traced onto translucent paper, to guide the block maker who then slowly carves it out of rosewood using only a hammer and a chisel.

The printer then dips the blocks into a pad that holds the different dyes.

One block per colour is then stamped carefully and precisely by hand to start building up the design, layer by layer.

Our family-run workshop just outside Jaipur is one of the few ateliers where the processing, dyeing, printing, stitching, and packaging all happen under one roof allowing us to have complete transparency. They are also the founding members of a textile co-operative that collaborates to share a space that is designed around green principles.

Returns & Refunds

Items can be refunded within 14 days of your order being received.

We cannot accept returns unless we have been contacted beforehand and the return has been agreed. Please email orders@ainoah.co.uk

Provided items are returned unused and in perfect condition we will refund the full amount for the style minus the initial shipping costs, unless your order is damaged/faulty.

We recommend using a recorder or trackable postal service as any returns are at your own risk.
